Workshop: Embodied Non-Violence

Embodied Non-Violence: An Introduction

Embodied Non-Violence is a body and spirit practice that draws on body wisdom to develop internal resources to live out non-violence in situations of conflict and to restore self-worth and vitality after experiences of violence and trauma. This workshop will introduce participants to some of the key components of embodied non-violence: embodiment practice and presence skills, and provide some experiences of different levels and ways of embodying and resourcing non-violence, with an emphasis on play, creativity, self-care and connection to Spirit. This workshop will be useful for those who work with survivors of violence.
